About the Israel-Somaliland Chamber of Commerce

An independent institutional and commercial platform advancing economic, trade and institutional relations between Israel and Somaliland.

The Israel-Somaliland Chamber of Commerce is an independent institutional and commercial platform established to promote and strengthen economic, trade, investment and institutional relations between Israel and Somaliland.

The Chamber was founded in recognition of the many areas of shared interest between Israel and Somaliland, including investment, infrastructure, agriculture, fisheries, energy, oil and gas, minerals, logistics, technology, innovation, education, professional training and cooperation between the private sector and public institutions.

On 14 May 2026, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Somaliland Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture and the Israel-Somaliland Chamber of Commerce, establishing a framework for cooperation in trade, investment, delegations, partnerships and ventures.

The Chamber acts as a coordinating and connecting body for institutions, companies, entrepreneurs and investors, helping review activity in Somaliland while maintaining standards of professionalism, integrity, discretion and responsible screening.

Official appointment

Appointment of Dudu Mor and Eran Amarani as representatives/coordinators of Somaliland vis-à-vis Israel by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Somaliland (15 December 2023).

Memorandum of understanding

A framework for cooperation and the advancement of relations, investment and delegations with the Somaliland Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (14 May 2026).

Local representation

The Chamber maintains an official office at the Ministry of Commerce, Economy and Agriculture of Somaliland, with a permanent presence of a Chamber representative.
